Paris and Liz work together!

I sunk into the deep muddy mud it was like quick sand pulling me down. My shoe got lost in the mud so I had to look for it. It was Pt England School cross country day, it was at the Pt England Reserve for the nine year olds. We were running out of breath.

We gathered together outside Mr Barks room. Then we met Mr Burt and we walked to the track.Then Mr Burt told the girls to line up, I felt nervous it was like butterflies were in my tummy.

Nine year olds had to run through the bush walk. I fell down and neally fell in the creek and I was crying, but a teacher helped me up. When I fell down I was running so fast I run like a cheetar. As I came to the finish line I heard Mr J speaking on the microphone, he was encouraging us to keep on running.I was so glad I made it.

One Foggy Morning : Colaborative Writing by Liz and Elizabeth

Liz and Elizabeth have worked together on our IPad to write about the weather this morning.

 The glittery sun was breaking through the fog while the shivering seagulls were looking for some food on the icy green grass. I looked out the window and I saw the trees invisible like a ghost it was wet and damp and I saw dark shadows all around me. When I saw walking I breath in and out I saw smoke cameing out of my mouth. If I looked at the sun my eyes was squint it was hard to see the invisible trees in the fog, but at ten oclock the sun came out and finally the fog went away.

Kia ora my name is Liz and my favourite place is the Cook Islands. I think that I am good at reading and I really enjoy writing at school. My goal this year is to get better at Maths. A new friend that I have made at school is Venetia.

Our focus this term was to learn to become more independent in using Hyperstudio and Imovie. Elizabeth has made these four short movies. She now understands the process of how to export images out of hyperstudio into imovie, how to record her voiceover and then share her movie with the world. Wonderful job Elizabeth.
