Class Trip To The Star Dome

Term 4 Team Three were learning about our solar system. For our class trip we went to the Star Dome in Cornwall Park. Johnlee and Night were in charge of the class camera and put this slide show together in iPhoto.

Room Tens Film Festival Entry

Today is the Manaiakalani Film Festival at Sylvia Park on the Extreme Screen!

Mysterious Black Boxes From Out Of Space

Johnlee shares his writting test based on an experience involving mysterious black boxes from out of space!

I reached inside the mysterious black box. It felt like alien’s eyeball.

I was a expert scientist and Miss Burne was an astronaut. She brought two black boxes in my lab. It felt slippery and was alien’s food. Miss Burne opened it. It had yellow egg and broken egg.

"Your in big trouble young man, you hear me" said Marlin, he was angry. When Marlin saw the diver appear Nemo screamed, "Arghhhh". Nemo's friends were scared. The diver caught Nemo in the net." Daddy help me !" cried Nemo." I'm coming Nemo said Marlin". The diver swam away.

Writing Instructions

Room Ten have been learning how to write instructions. We imagined that an Alien has visited Room Ten from out of space to learn how we make, do and operate things.

We have been instructing our alien to make, do and operate many things. This short movie and piece of writing shows how we instructed our alien to make Fairy Bread which is sometimes served at childrens birthday parties. See if you can follow our instructions and make Fairy Bread too.

• hundred's and thousand's
• butter
• plate
• knife
• servette
• soap
• water

Steps
1. Wash you hands with soap and water
2. Get a piece of bread
3. Spread some butter on the bread
4. Sprinkle on some hundred's and thousand's
5.Cut the bread into two pieces
6. Eat it

Warning
Sprinkle carefully so the sprinkles land on your bread.
