Fear Factor Room Ten

Recently Room Ten held their own fear factor to inspire us for writing. Some very brave contestants closed their eyes and took a risk into the unknown and eating the unknown. Sometimes it was delicious, sometimes it was disgusting!

Daffodil Day

Today is Daffodil Day in New Zealand which is a day that helps to raise funds for fighting cancer.
Room Ten have made this movie to help promote today and to remember those who we have lost.

Our First Gold Medal by PJ

PJ has been learning how to write and send his work via the IPad. His has worked on this paragraph independently. Wonderful typing PJ!


Joseph Sullivan and Nathan Cohen were in the mens rowing, they won a gold medal. It was the 2012 London Olympic games. The deadly doouble we're at Downey Lake. .Their Powerful arms paddle their boat through the water it was a dream race.

Presentation Week For Room 10

This week we have been sharing with the class a little about ourselves. After writing our speeches we were asked to present it to the class in a clear and confident manner.

PJ was the videographer and has captured our speeches on film.  Ezra was his props assistant, holding the cue cards for those who needed some extra help.

Talofa my names is PJ. My favourite food is McDonalds. I think that I am good at Rugby League and I really enjoy learning rugby at school. My goal this year is to get better at maths. A new friend I have made at school is Night.

There is only a few more weeks of school and that means it is getting closer to christmas! Room 8 are getting very excited and have been busy writing letters to santa. Because it is the age of technology, Room 8 have decided that we think there might be a chance that Santa reads our blog.

There was a birthday in Room 8 on Friday and the class had a small party to celebrate.
Miss Burne made a birthday cake which looked like a volcano.

PJ Get's Blindfolded

Room 8 have been learning how to work well with a buddy.
The children worked together with a buddy to get over a obstical
course blindfolded. They had to think about what instructions
they gave each other and they had to listen well to each other to keep safe.

It felt like hair gel. My hand was green. It was jelly.
