Christmas is coming!

There is only a few more weeks of school and that means it is getting closer to christmas! Room 8 are getting very excited and have been busy writing letters to santa. Because it is the age of technology, Room 8 have decided that we think there might be a chance that Santa reads our blog.

Volcano Cake

There was a birthday in Room 8 on Friday and the class had a small party to celebrate.
Miss Burne made a birthday cake which looked like a volcano.

Lizara Wants A Baby Piglet

At Ambury Farm the piglets had beady eyes and floopy ears.
The mother had milk in her. The pig had short stumpy legs
and it has a hairy back. After that we saw Bella the horse. She
had a long nose and a long tail. Bella had long legs. We brushed
the horse and she had hooves like dinner plates. Next we saw the
sheep. The sheep had pink ears. It had dirty hooves with white wool.
We fed the sheep and it tickled my hand. After the sheep we went
to see the chickens. They had soft feathers and when we fed the chickens the chickens bit me. The mother had lots of baby chickens. I really like Ambury Farm because I like the piglets and I wish I had a little baby piglet.

Lizara Makes a Star Fish

On Friday Room 8 went to the swimming pool.
We used the ladder to get in the pool. The teacher
asked Room 8 to play a tag game in the pool. We
did a star fish in the pool.

Lizara records a maths goal

Lizara sets a maths goal for 2010 and records it in imovie all by herself.
