For topic we have been learning how to make toys that move.

We have been making a toy woodpecker which oscilates, which means it moves in a steady ryhthm.

As an introduction to our inquiry topic ' Toy Story', our student teacher, Miss Szymanik brought in some toys from her childhood to share with the class.

We worked in groups and and discussed what they were made of, how they moved, their special features and who they were made for.

We are even going to use one of them for a special movie we are making for school TV. Keep reading our blog to see which one we used!
