In Room Ten the Zebras reading group have been experimenting with
stop motion animation and some toys from our toy box. They have made the
following movie in imovie and have worked with Mr J on creating their
own sound effects. It was shown on School TV today What a clever bunch of children.
Remember to leave them a comment on their blog and tell them how
many hands you see. It is a trick question. First to leave a comment with the right answer wins
a prize.

Fear Factor Room Ten
Recently Room Ten held their own fear factor to inspire us for writing. Some very brave contestants closed their eyes and took a risk into the unknown and eating the unknown. Sometimes it was delicious, sometimes it was disgusting!
Watch and see.

One Foggy Morning : Colaborative Writing by Liz and Elizabeth
The glittery sun was breaking through the fog while the shivering seagulls were looking for some food on the icy green grass. I
looked out the window and I saw the trees invisible like a ghost it was
wet and damp and I saw dark shadows all around me. When I saw walking I
breath in and out I saw smoke cameing out of my mouth. If I looked at the sun my eyes was squint it was hard to see the invisible trees in the fog, but at ten oclock the sun came out and finally the fog went away.

Elizabeth Becomes An Expert Scientist

Elizabeths Writing Test
Excitedly I reached into the mysterious black box. Miss Burne talked to us. She said to use our imaginations. Miss Burne came back with two mysterious black boxes. I was the expert scientist. Miss Burne was a visiting astronaut. I put my hand into the first box. It felt like alien’s eyeballs.
Then I felt the other mysterious black box. It felt like alien’s food. I said “yuck”. It felt uncomfortable.
I felt anxious, I felt scared too. We were in the imaginations room. It felt disgusting, mushy and lumpy.
The astronaut Miss Burne opened the mysterious black boxes. Inside there was food. It was a bad day.

Kapow! The Germs Are Gone.
Can Room Ten make soap BETTER? We think so.
Our class have had great fun planning and making soap.
We think that you WILL want to use it!
This movie aired on School TV earlier today and shows our designs and how we made them.
We hope you enjoy it. Write us a comment and tell us which soap would make you
wash your hands.
